Recently, Zoomlion successfully completed the first overseas delivery of its 100-ton electric drive mining dump truck, the ZTE210, to a client operating in an extremely cold mining region. This milestone marks a significant step forward in Zoomlion’s global expansion into the high-end mining equipment sector.
The customer, a long-term partner of Zoomlion, has previously purchased multiple batches of excavators. According to user feedback, Zoomlion's equipment demonstrated excellent performance and stability under severe conditions, with average ambient temperatures reaching -45°C. Coupled with Zoomlion’s efficient and responsive after-sales service, the client was confident in expanding their fleet by introducing super-heavy-duty excavators and dump trucks from Zoomlion, further strengthening cooperation in the field of advanced mining machinery.
The ZTE210 electric drive mining truck is Zoomlion’s fully localized 100-ton solution, ideal for pairing with 12–18 m³ class excavators. It is designed for large-scale open-pit mines with annual stripping capacities exceeding 5 million tons. Equipped with a third-generation AC-DC-AC electric drive system and intelligent vehicle control strategies, the truck boasts high traction, enhanced driving safety, and optimized transport efficiency.
Powered by an electronically controlled V12 engine delivering up to 1,450 horsepower, the ZTE210 reaches speeds of up to 51 km/h, ensuring fast climbing capability and stable performance across complex mining terrains.
To address the challenges of extreme cold, the ZTE210 delivered for this project includes several customized cold-weather upgrades:
