From the pulse of Shanghai to the poetic beauty of Shangrao, the SUPER LEGION team recently embarked on a 3-day, 2-night journey that was anything but ordinary. Carefully curated by a seasoned travel planner, this bespoke adventure was designed to offer not just a change of scenery, but a deep dive into the region’s soul — where ancient culture meets breathtaking landscapes.
The adventure began on June 12th with the high-speed G13731 train carrying the team from Shanghai Hongqiao to Shangrao. Spirits were high, and laughter echoed through the train cars as colleagues transitioned from coworkers to fellow travelers. Waiting in Shangrao was a private 37-seat coach, ready to whisk the group away to the first stop: Gexian Village, nestled beneath the misty peaks of Gexian Mountain.
Winding paths led the team through this fairy-tale village, where Daoist legends whisper through bamboo groves and winding streams. The Gexian Mountain Scenic Area and the surrounding resort were like stepping into a painting — serene, spiritual, and full of wonder. As twilight descended, the village transformed into a sea of golden lanterns, their reflections shimmering across still waters. It was a night that blurred the line between dream and reality. The group rested at the tranquil Zhenshan Inn, tucked quietly within the Gexian Village Resort.
Day two brought a shift in scenery and rhythm. After a hearty breakfast, the team made their way to Wunüzhou, a pastoral riverside retreat steeped in rustic charm. The day was left open for exploration, allowing everyone to wander, breathe, and reconnect with nature and themselves. That evening, the team gathered under a starlit sky to witness the awe-inspiring live performance “Encounter Wuyuan” — a vivid showcase of Jiangxi’s rich folklore, music, and dance. The performance stirred hearts and left eyes shining. That night, they stayed at the elegant Wanjuan Hotel, enveloped by the peace of Wunüzhou’s gentle nightscape.
The final day led the team to the ancient cliffside village of Huangling. Here, time seemed to slow down as they meandered through Tianjie — “Heaven Street” — a maze of stone alleys, hanging baskets, and traditional wooden homes clinging to terraced slopes. The view of sun-dried crops arranged like a patchwork quilt beneath the sky was simply unforgettable. A final thrill awaited at the Shuiji section of the scenic area, where the team reveled in the excitement of water-themed attractions and sweeping mountain views.
As they boarded the return train to Shanghai, suitcases were heavier with souvenirs, and hearts were fuller with stories. This wasn’t just a company outing — it was a shared experience of wonder, connection, and discovery.
In a world of deadlines and deliverables, the Shangrao journey was a beautiful reminder: sometimes, the best way to move forward together is to pause, wander, and marvel — side by side.
