On November 3, 100 Yutong buses equipped with Yuchai YCS06 clean-power engines officially entered service in Cancun, Mexico. The buses will operate on public transportation routes across the city's central areas and the famous Hotel Zone corridor, providing reliable mobility for residents and international tourists.
Designed for premium passenger transport and urban public transit, the Yuchai YCS06 engine features low emissions and low noise. To adapt to Cancun's hot, humid and salt-rich coastal environment, Yuchai has introduced customized anti-corrosion measures and lightweight design improvements, ensuring reliable performance under challenging conditions.
This deployment marks another milestone in the overseas cooperation between Yuchai and Yutong. By delivering cleaner, more efficient and comfortable transportation solutions, the two Chinese manufacturers are supporting Cancun's green public transit development and demonstrating the global potential of China's low-carbon mobility technologies.
