Recently, XGMA XG970HEV long-range alcohol-hydrogen loader was officially launched at the Jiaozuo North Production Base. This is another new energy product of XGMA since the launch of XG955KM methanol new energy product.
Zou Zifan, assistant to the general manager of Xiamen Jiaozuo Company, said that XGMA's launch of this first-of-its-kind methanol-range extended hybrid loader not only demonstrated XGMA's breakthrough achievements in green power technology, but also promoted the new trend of low-carbon transformation in the construction machinery industry, and also provided innovative solutions for green construction under the national "dual carbon" goal.
XGMA senior engineer Xiao Zhenlie introduced that the core technical highlight of this long-range alcohol-hydrogen new energy loader is that the whole machine is equipped with a long-range alcohol-hydrogen power system. This system achieves an improvement in energy conversion efficiency through the coordinated work of alcohol-hydrogen electric and fuel cells. Compared with traditional diesel power, the combustion products of methanol fuel are only CO2 and water, particulate matter emissions are reduced by more than 90%, and nitrogen oxide emissions are reduced by 80%.
In addition, this new product uses lithium iron phosphate power battery, which is safe, stable, and has long-lasting endurance, effectively solving the endurance anxiety problem of pure electric equipment under heavy-load conditions. Before the product was officially released, it was tested under rigorous working conditions for more than 10,000 hours. The specially designed intelligent energy management system can automatically switch the power mode according to the load, that is, the battery is used first when the load is light, and the methanol range extension system intervenes immediately when the load is heavy.
At the press conference, the relevant person in charge of XGMA said that as a liquid "hydrogen carrier", the storage and transportation cost of methanol is only 1/10 of that of hydrogen, which has unique advantages in the process of new energy for construction machinery. XGMA's breakthrough in technological innovation this time will promote the upgrading of the technical route of loader products. As an important coal chemical base in the country, Jiaozuo produces more than 2 million tons of methanol annually, providing sufficient fuel guarantee for equipment operation. In the next step, XGMA will work with methanol suppliers across the country to quickly build a "fuel supply guarantee-equipment leasing-after-market service" circulation system to provide customers with an integrated solution.
After the press conference, the first batch of XGMA XG970HEV remote alcohol-hydrogen loader was officially delivered to a mining construction company, helping the user to create a zero-carbon construction application scenario.
